Join us on Saturday, December 14 for the second edition of Call and Response, a partnership across communities to support a great cause and local artists. We will have a suggested donation on the door and all proceeds will go to our chosen org!
We are excited to join forces with Back on my Feet SF. BomF helps people who are experiencing homelessness gain independence, living skills, and connect them with essential community resources.
Tactically, Back on My Feet recruits individuals (members) at homeless and residential facilities and begins with a member's commitment to run three days a week in the early morning. After 30 days in the program, members with 90% attendance earn the opportunity to move into the second phase of the program called Next Steps, which provides education, employment and housing opportunities.
For every $1 invested in Back on My Feet, nearly $2.50 is returned to the community through increased economic activity and cost savings - and that return is seen in only three years. We will be donating all door proceeds (advance and night of) to BomF SF, and will be welcoming folks from the org as our honored guests for the evening.
