BURLINGAME ART SOCIETY’S 25th ANNUAL SPRING ART EXHIBIT SHOWCASED AT HILLSDALE SHOPPING CENTER

Hillsdale Shopping Center will host The Burlingame Art Society’s 25th Annual Spring Art Exhibit where local artists will showcase their original works in watercolor, acrylics, oils and pastels. The exhibit will be open to the public on Saturday, May 18th and Sunday, May 19th during mall hours. Many of these same respected, talented artists and members of the Burlingame Art Society have also had their collections featured on the walls of The Peninsula Ballet, Burlingame’s Hall of Justice and City Hall and other venues throughout the Peninsula. The Burlingame Art Society was organized in 1957 by a group of artists who sought to practice the principles of traditional art. Among the membership are art teachers, exceptional and award-winning artists as well as those interested in promoting the arts and the appreciation of art in the community.
