Like Sonic Youth before them, San Jose's Breathing Patterns plays with experimental soundscapes but also pumps out intense, in-your-face rock & roll. They drift in and out of tripped-out mellow space jams and aggressive post-punk explosions, sometimes combining both into blasts of multi-layered, psychedelic punk rock.
