Branden & James - 'It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year!'

The Firehouse Arts Center in partnership with award-winning ESSES Productions presents Branden & James in a special Holiday version of their hit show. The sensational vocal/cello/keyboard duo perform classical covers of pop songs ranging from Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, to their stirring mash-up of Silent Night/Ave Maria and O Holy Night... a big helping of holiday cheer for the whole family.
The show also includes a healthy dose of the music they are best known for: The Beatles and The Eagles, Simon & Garfunkel, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, The Phantom of The Opera, as well as familiar contemporary songs from Sam Smith, Adele, and the musical Frozen, to list a few. Many of the numbers are from the most recent album.
Also on tap are a Holiday sprinkling of funny stories about Branden's stint on America's Got Talent, James' tales of growing up "down under," and their musical roots (Branden's grandfather toured with Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley for ages).
Branden James Smith had an already successful career on stage and in recording prior to his meeting the Australian cellist. Some of Branden's accolades include finishing as Finalist on America's Got Talent, appearances at The Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago and Los Angeles Opera, two world tours with the Twelve Tenors and two solo releases worldwide.
James Clark brought to the mix his own share of musical accomplishments as guest cellist for Olivia Newton John, Idina Menzel and Bernadette Peters in multiple concerts. He initially came on board to music direct a concert in which Branden was performing, and their musical connection was so clear from the beginning, that they began to play together regularly, creating arrangements of "familiar tunes that make you listen to them like you've never heard them before." Shortly after their first public concert together, they began touring globally and recording their original songs and innovative, classically inspired covers.
