The Box Shop has commissioned local artists to paint over 130 murals throughout the exterior and inner yards. This is one of the largest open-air mural art exhibits in the Bay Area! Take a photo with or for your mom with some of these gorgeous paintings!
*Explore where colossal art is born!*
Monumental art pieces are created at The Box Shop. Some become public art installed locally and around the U.S. - such as Entwined Meadow (installed in Golden Gate Park in the winters of 2020-2022). The Box Shop is also a hub of the Burning Man arts community. Dozens of Burning Man sculptures and art cars were created at The Box Shop. See for yourself the space, the machinery, and the tools that make this art possible!
