* David Bowie’s new album “Blackstar” is being released on his birthday, and will be exactly one day old on the night of this event.
* Elvis Presley 60th anniversary of his debut album release (released in 1956) – the self-titled LP “Elvis Presley” became the first rock & roll album to reach number one spot on the national charts, and RCA's first million dollar-earning pop album.
* The first half hour of the Birthday Bash will feature songs from each album. Be one of the first to hear the new Bowie tracks, and go back 60 years to the early Elvis songs.

David Bowie and Elvis Presley…sharing a birthdate and a record label (RCA Records & Tapes), these rebel, rebels caused a lot of pelvises to rock and roll. Here's a chance for fans of either or both acts to celebrate their music, personas, and lives. The 6th annual SF bash.

Dress up! Comeback in leather, come out in lame’. Fashion? Turn to the left. Rockabilly to glam and beyond… put on your red shoes and Let’s Dance in Blue Suede Shoes, Blue Hawaiians or Blue Jeans. Jumpsuits to spacesuits. The papers want to know whose shirts you wear!

Well it's a one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready, now Wham-Bam-Thank-You-Ma'am! Thank you very much. To be played at maximum volume.
