About Blue Bear School of Music
Blue Bear is the original "school of rock and roll" and one of California's largest nonprofit community music schools. Our vital youth music programs enrich the lives of over 800 young students each year; hundreds of these kids are from low-income families and under-served communities such as the Bayview and Tenderloin districts. We have over 15 partner sites in public schools and community centers and sponsor youth scholarships and sliding-scale tuition support. Blue Bear has been changing lives through music since 1971. More info at bluebearmusic.org.
