Blonde Toledo returns to Armando's in Martinez 2/15/19

So here's what happened. We came up to play Armando's last fall. It was a beautiful warm night, but apparently the whole town of Martinez was off doing something else, so we played to a fairly small crowd. Not the romanticized, 1 patron, the bartender and their dog, but you get the picture.
As we do, to no matter who or how many, we rocked the house, and dancing ensued, despite Armando's being primarily a sit down kind of place. We went down like gang busters, and the folks who run Armando's (who see a lot of great acts) LOVED us. So much so, that despite taking a financial hit for that night,, called us up and asked us to come back and try it again, as they feel we are a band making the kind of music their patrons should get hip to.
If seasoned veterans of the music wars are willing to take a chance on our scrappy little band, shouldn't you.
And if Blonde Toledo grows into the band it can be, that first show will be legendary, like the first night Dylan played on Bleeker St, or the Sex Pistols at Manchester's Trade Union hall.
So here is a second chance to not blow your bragging rights, and to get in at the start of music that might improve the shape of your life. Come out Friday February 15th at 8pm to Armandos' at 707 Marina Vista in picturesque Martinez CA for Blonde Toledo's return to Armando's for 2 sets of retro rockin Klezmer Boogaloo. You can sit down, or get up and dance, either is a valid choice.
