BLACK SUN is a solo exhibition by Oglala Lakota artist, Angelica Trimble Yanu. Her work combines the processes of Monotype Printmaking, Painting, and Sculpture. Her work features graphic black and white strokes that linger between representation and abstraction, and the tangible and intangible. Her work has been exhibited at the De Young Museum and she recently was nominated for the SFMOMA 2022 SECA Award.
