Celebrate Black Cat's second anniversary in style with NYC Rapper/Producer Kassa Overall feat. Theo Croker!
Kassa Overall is a drummer, rapper and producer – a multi genre “jazz” artist. He also has recorded and toured with Vijay Iyer, Steve Coleman and Dee Dee Bridgewater. He has built a following for his work as a rapper, which he considers to be an extension of his jazz canon. Overall DJs with The Late Show with Stephen Colbert's house band with Jon Batiste and Stay Human. His most recent release. "Drake It 'til You Make It" combines his love of hip hop and jazz. With the masterful Theo Croker on trumpet and Grammy-winning bassist Evan Flory Barnes, you'll get a taste of their take on Snoop, Kanye, and of course, Drake.
We are thrilled to have Kassa with us for our second birthday party and we want you here too! We are hosting two shows nightly on Friday and Saturday. The first set is from 7:30-8:45 and the second is from 10:00-11:30. Advance purchase highly recommended. These tickets reserve VIP Premium Seating with stage views; dinner service is required. There is a $20 Food Minimum per person from 6-10pm, and a $25 F&B after 10pm.
