Join the Gallinas Watershed Council for an easy bike ride through the watershed.
On our 3rd Annual GWC “BIKE THE WATERSHED” Bicycle Tour we’ll head to China Camp for the annual Heritage Day event that takes place in China Camp Village.
There we will stop to enjoy the cultural, historical and environmental activities of Heritage Day. We’ll even get to see historic boats including The Grace Quan, a reproduction Chinese Junk.
We start and end up at Adrian Rosal Park in Santa Venetia. After the ride there will be a BBQ.
This is a FREE event but donations of $5 or more are appreciated.
Along the way to China Camp Village we’ll stop at a few locations to discuss the watershed and its inhabitants:
1. McPhail’s Pond
2. Sanders Oak Tree
3. China Camp Campground – introduction by Host Grace Gardener
4. Visitor Center / Ranger Station – visit new museum
5. China Camp Village – attend HERITAGE DAY festivities
6. Buckeye Point
7. Bucks Launching
