Bernal Hillwide Garage Sale

The Bernal Heights Hillwide Garage Sale, arguably San Francisco's largest and most famous single day garage sale, is on Saturday, 13-August from 9a-2p.
Last year, over 150 households participated to exchange trash for treasure. The entire neighborhood is open to the public and welcomes bargain hunters, treasure seekers and knick knack enthusiasts.

This event only happens once each year and is an annual Bernal Heights tradition.
It’s one part scavenger hunt and one part party served Bernal style.
Records, vehicles, water toys, collectibles and even baked goods can be found for pennies on the dollar. New and used, worn and pristine - Bernal Heights in bulk.

We have two ways that you can search the site to find exactly what you are looking for – you’ll be able to search for specific things or by broader category. For example:
if you are looking for that elusive cabbage patch doll type cabbage patch doll in the general search box over in the sidebar to the right
or if you are on the hunt for some gently used furniture or kids stuff then use the tag cloud immediately below the search box—just click on the category you want to explore
In both cases you’ll be presented with a listing of all the garages who either have your search term in their description or items in the category you selected.

Please do not set up around the library.
Obtain the owner’s permission before setting up on someone else’s property.
Keep sidewalks clear for foot traffic accessibility.
