Berkeley Chamber Performances presents Frequency 49, a five woman and one man wind and piano ensemble, celebrating Women's History Month by performing an exciting program entirely of women composers. This stunning Bay Area ensemble blends the past and present through classical and contemporary works by such luminaries as Louise Farrenc, Valerie Coleman, Grazyna Bacewicz Madeleine Dring, and others.
Formed in 2012, Frequency 49 has premiered music by hip-hop/classical fusion artist Joowan Kim, Jazz musician and music educator David Hart, Robert Pierzak and Sy Brandon.
