Beginning with Water

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) (see times)
OPENING RECEPTION: Friday, December 12, 5-7 pm

Beginning With Water showcases the work of Community School of Music and Arts' faculty and students, ages five to adult. Inspired by the theme of “water”, the artists created works that incorporated water, both as a material and an overall concept. In the wake of an on-going, years-long drought in California, this exhibition reflects the community’s current concerns with water and the myriad of ways it is part of our lives. Featured work includes a world within raindrops from some of the exhibition’s younger artists, to ceramic mermaids and renderings in paint of local waterways from the adult artists.
