Join us at SCRAP (San Francisco) on Saturday, February 23rd from 1pm - 4pm for Beginning Head and Portrait Drawing!

Led by artist David Tenorio, this Drawing workshop will teach you the fundamentals of drawing, tips for drawing the head/portrait and how to improve your observational abilities.
This 3 hour workshop will cover such topics as:

Basic foundational drawing skills

Tips and tricks for each feature of the head

How do we observe quickly?  Seeing what's most important

The correct way to construct the head using the "Ball and Jaw" method

Simple to advanced techniques for shading in pencil and ink

For both beginners and seasoned veterans, this workshop will provide instruction that spans all abilities and skill levels.  The workshop will begin with a detailed lecture covering basic foundational drawing skills (with some advanced techniques included!) followed by a series of exercises and demonstrations on drawing the head, concluding with a Q&A segment at the end of the session.  Each workshop participant will receive drawing materials to work with as well as a custom-made packet covering all instructed material.
We hope to see you there!
