On a cold, shitty, October night in 2010, a drunk duo of idiots that called themselves The Beach Bum Alcoholics, entered a bar on Manchester Rd in St Louis with a guitar, a stumble, breath that smelled of Jack Daniels, and clothes that reeked of marijuana. Those two buffoons saw gray walls, two drunk derelicts sitting at the bar and an empty stage.
Having been just the right combination of stoned and drunk, they decided to take the stage and try and entertain the 3 people in the dingy, disgusting, hole. The show was horrible, the lead singer puked on himself, the bartender almost beat their asses for not having money for the tab, and they got kicked out by her. The owner of that establishment saw what they did that night and being half-insane himself, asked them to return the following Tuesday night.
Always being sedated by numerous combination of drugs and alcohol, these shows went on for about a year and a half. Meeting tons of great people, and having a ton of incredible acts grace the stage, the BBAs began writing a ton of original songs, some parodies, and basically getting wasted in every way humanly possible, they wrote an album.
