Bayfair Center, a regional shopping center in San Leandro, Calif. (
https://www.shopbayfair.com/), invites the community to enjoy a powerful art exhibition entitled "Overlap: Home, Immigration, and Identity" which offers a wide range of artistic lenses through which visitors can contemplate culture, identity and the immigrant experience. Curated by San Leandro artist Andrea Guskin in partnership with Oakland-based non-profit ARTogether, "Overlap" features the work of four local artists - Nimisha Doongarwal, Roya Ebtehaj, Somaieh Amini and Andrea Guskin - and spans three interior spaces near Target, Macy's and Kohl's at Bayfair Center. There will also be a "Meet the Artists virtual art opening held online on Thursday, February 25th, at 7 p.m. where visitors can walk through a one-of-a-kind virtual world created exclusively for this exhibition, stopping along the way to chat with each of the artists.
