Bay Area Songstress Returns to the San Mateo County Fair

Longtime local favorite singer/songwriter, Katie Garibaldi, returns to play the San Mateo County Fair on Sunday, June 12th. The performance will take place on the Community Stage at 2:15pm.
With eight albums released to date and an endorsement with Breedlove Stringed Instruments, who worked with her to build a custom Master Class guitar, Katie Garibaldi has proven to be an artist with staying power. Based in the golden city of San Francisco, this determined and enthusiastic singer/songwriter/guitarist is an avid national touring performer who has acquired a devoted fan base, due in large part to her engaging live shows, and personal connection to her listeners through her music. The songwriter has a characteristic musical style wherein her country-tinged folk-rock gives her a distinct and soulful sound—ethereal Americana with sparkling memorable melodies.
Katie Garibaldi’s brand new EP, Rooted Clarity, is a bit of a departure from the singer/songwriter’s latest countrified and love-story centered Follow Your Heart album, with a return to her folk-driven roots, a fresh orchestral vibe featuring a mix of classical and country string players, and songs that focus on self-discovery and faith. With an effectively effortless-sounding and moving production, the record smartly spotlights Garibaldi’s trademark soulful and compelling vocals—a sweet soprano that weaves between airy and operatic, taking the listener into the emotional depths of the stories told in these five brand new original songs.
