Come on down to the Cafe Stritch as they present a triple bill featuring Battlehooch, Lady Lazarus, and Plantain. Battlehooch has cultivated a sound that can only be described as "shapeshifting orchestral rock," with songs ranging from symphonically epic to intimately beautiful. Lady Lazarus is the solo project of Melissa Ann Sweat, a singer-songwriter, artist, and creative writer from the San Francisco Bay Area. Plantain performs loosely concise, eclectic folk songs that incorporate various instruments, from banjo to trumpet to marxophone.
