Barefoot Chamber Concerts presents a festive concert of Elizabethan gems for voices and viols.
"The Cries of London" by Gibbons and "The Country Cries" by Dering are the famous (and hilarious) pieces based on street cries that anchor this program, which also includes In Nomines and other instrumental music by Taverner, Gibbons, and Tye, as well as a cautionary ballad about a scheming cookmaid and a sausage.
The Barefoot Festival All-Stars are Allison Zelles Lloyd, Tonia D'Amelio, Shira Kammen, David Morris, Fred Goff, Peter Hallifax, Julie Jeffrey and Lynn Tetenbaum.
