Bag Raiders are a dance-pop duo founded in 2006 by mainstays Jack Glass and Chris Stracey. In October 2010 they issued their debut self-titled studio album, which peaked at No. 7 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The duo also creates remixes of other artists' work. Bag Raiders have appeared at multiple festivals, including Stereosonic in 2011 nationally.
In 2009 Bag Raiders were rated at No. 11 on the inthemix website's poll of Australia's top 50 DJs. Their track, "Shooting Stars" was listed at No. 18 in radio station Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2009. In the next year's list, "Way Back Home", reached No. 46.
Bag Raiders are an electro, house duo founded in Sydney in 2006 by mainstays Jack Glass and Chris Stracey. In the mid-1990s they met at the Cranbrook School orchestra practice room with Glass a year ahead playing piano and cello, and Stracey playing violin and clarinet. In 2005, the pair reconnected and started mixing hip-hop and 1970s rock music CDs. As Bag Raiders their musical inspirations include Earth, Wind & Fire, The Brothers Johnson, 808 State and Orbital. The duo are also DJs and create remixes of other artists' work.
On 15 August 2007 Bag Raiders issued their second EP, Fun Punch on Bang Gang 12 Inches and Modular Records. In 2009 Bag Raiders were rated at No. 11 on the inthemix poll of Australia's top 50 DJs.
