Catherine Liu + Artists and PianoFight present Backstage, a comedy-dance-theater show that takes you behind the curtain, beyond the wings, and back into the performers' dressing room. Featuring an actor (Meredith Terry Vaughn), a choreographer (Becky Robinson-Leviton) and her troupe of modern dancers (Tayler Kinner, Hannah Pierce, & Hannah Westbrook), the artists experience each others’ odd, quirky pre-performance rituals throughout the night. With awkward turtle moments and breaking the 4th wall asides, this multimedia play features choreography of gestures, full bodied movement, and a video to be watched in an unconventional way.
The night opens with two guest performances by Meredith Terry Vaughn and The Phenomenal Anomalies.
$20 online, $25 at the door, $15 for groups of 5 or more.

Come by early to grab dinner and drinks before the show! PianoFight has a full kitchen and bar. If you plan on dining, we recommend you arrive 1.5 hours early. Restaurant seating is first come first serve.
PARKINGStreet parking is free after 6pm. We’re located 2 blocks from Powell BART, numerous muni lines and there are 3 parking lots within 1 block.
