Back to the Future Film & Anchor Beer Pairing with San Franpsycho

Presented by Anchor Brewing and San Franpsycho, hosted at the historic Balboa Theatre! Join us for a unique, one-night-only film and beer pairing event featuring Back to the Future!
$25 ticket includes the film and 3 beer tickets! Additional beer tickets available for purchase.
-Beer selection will include 3 unique one-time-only beers inspired by the movie. We'll have a beer from the past, present, and future:
? Past – Hill Valley Cream Ale – We went back to 1955 to bring this beer fresh to you from Hill Valley. It is a classic easy drinking 1950’s American Cream Ale that is perfect for drinking before, during, and after the Enchantment Under the Sea dance. 4.0% ABV, 12 IBUs
? Present – Marty McFly-PA – This is a beer from today that is all about the hops. It is an aggressively hopped, hazy IPA that is perfect for drinking after coming back from the future or the past. Tropical fruit and pine aromas will make you feel like you’ve just stepped out of the DeLorean. 6.5% ABV, 50 IBUs
? Future – Flux Capacitor – We had a time machine, so what did you think we’d do with it? We went to the future (2117) to taste a bunch of new & different beers. Our favorite was a Biere De Mars which was home-brewed by the first colonists on Mars using actual yeast from the Red Planet. Yes, there is life on Mars & they used it to make beer. This is a Saison styled beer with hints of citrus, banana & clove as well as a distinctive Martian yeast note. 6.2% ABV, 25 IBUs.
? Anchor will also be featuring Los Gigantes Mexican Lager, Blackbery Daze IPA, and Anchor Steam Beer.
-San Franpsycho will be onsite featuring their 2017 Spring/Summer line, inspired by 80's pop culture and ocean vibes. San Franpsycho will also be live printing their newest design so bring a light colored garment, plus they're gifting free live printed posters to the first 20 people!
Happy Hour is 6:30-7:30pm. Film starts promptly at 7:30pm.
