Snazzy Productions is proud to present an evening with the Austin Lounge Lizards at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center. The band originally started out by experimenting with folk before incorporating elements of country and progressive rock. Between the band members, a large number of different instruments have been played, including a rich variety of string instruments such as the banjo, mandolin, and fiddle. Their songs tend to be humorous in an extremely off-beat way, but also include a certain political awareness not found in the music of their contemporaries.
