August Gets Hot with Jazz at The Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa's Fireplace Lounge
The Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa located at 1 Old Golf Course Road in Monterey offers music stylings during August, at the Fireplace Lounge! Jazz is in the air so join us for local favorites such as George Young and Mayumi.
Fireplace Lounge:
All jazz events at the Fireplace Lounge at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa are complimentary. Jazz times are 7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday. Stop by and enjoy live jazz, a glass of award winning Monterey County wine and great appetizers and wood fired pizzas.
· Friday, August 2 - Nat Johnson/David Morwood band - Nat has been thrilling the audience and his band mates for years with his rich vocals and solid bass playing
· Saturday, August 3 - Rich Fenno quartet - rich swings that alto sax for jazz swing and dixie like no one else! a night not to be missed by any jazz sax fan - with special guests!
· Friday, August 9th - guitar great Mike Lent from the Barry Manilow orchestra, Gary Meek LA studio musician, and David Morwood drums
· Saturday, August 10th - Kenny Stahl flute - one of the central coast's most in demand musicians plays jazz standards and originals, with all-star band
· Friday, August 16th - Bob Basa guitar, David Morwood drums - from Brazilian to jazz to pop music for dancing and dining
· Saturday, August 17th - Hyatt Regency Diva Night - up close and personal some of the finest and newest vocalists for near and far - come and cheer for your favorite Diva!
