Asterisk is proud to bring MELANIA . for her SF Debut!
MELANIA . [aufnahme + wiedergabe] is a Berlin based artist whose eclectic sets are mostly based on energetic industrial, techno, EBM, rhythmic noise, rave, wave and heavy sounds. She blends harsh textures with spacious melodic elements and sharp percussion to create otherworldly atmospheres. She is a member of Philipp Strobel's infamous [aufnahme + wiedergabe] and has played Berlin's biggest techno clubs Tresor.Berlin (OFFICIAL) and Griessmuehle.

Michael Claus (LIVE) [Silva Electronics] runs local techno imprint Silva Electronics and manages Bay Area station Sutrofm.net. He is coming off an audiovisual performance at MUTEK San Francisco and he has run the club circuit several times over. His productions range from sunny, stoned dub techno to fried electrical bangers. Michael has been known to melt drum machines and synthesizers with his hyperactive live hardware sets. Do not sleep on this one.
