A fun, free, and family-friendly festival, ArtSplash is an invitation for guests to explore and sample Montalvo's offerings! Now in its fifth year, it features live musical performances, hands-on art making activities, tours of the historic Villa and gardens, visual arts in the Project Space Gallery and throughout the property, and more.
Visitors will also have the unique opportunity to go behind the scenes in open studios at Montalvo's Lucas Artists Residency Program – and the chance to talk with the artists-in-residence and witness them in creative action.
See performances on the Garden Theatre stage by Chris Reed and Chinyakare Ensemble, take a picture with DJ Jimmy Phelan on the front veranda, and see music & more throughout the day in the LAP Commons, Studios, and around the grounds.
A fleet of the Bay Area's best gourmet food trucks will also be on hand, offering tempting fare. Confirmed so far: Gold Rush Eatery, The Kabob Job, Little Green Cyclo, MoGo BBQ, Road Dogs, and Scoops SJ.
