New York City's renowned Stephen Petronio Company celebrates its 30th anniversary by coming to UC Santa Cruz for a special one-day residency culminating in a public artist talk with choreographer Stephen Petronio, whose trademark is a visceral collision of movement, music, visual art, and fashion that coallesce in vividly sensual performance landscapes. The Stephen Petronio Company will showcase excerpts from their recent work, "Like Lazarus Did," and Petronio himself will read excerpts from his soon-to-be-released memoir, Confessions of a Motion Addict. This event will afford students and faculty, as well as the community, the opportunity to hear the Company's creative process and see them in action.
