Voss Gallery is accepting submissions for "Postcards from Paradise," a juried group exhibition of letter-size paintings celebrating the beauty of our surroundings and how we connect with one another. This opportunity is open to artists based in the United States. A Juror's Choice Award and two honorable mentions will be selected by guest juror Haylee Barsky, the curator and founder of Visionary Projects in New York, NY.
All artwork must be the exact dimensions 8 x 10 inches (oriented either horizontally or vertically) and may not exceed more than 3 inches off the wall). Accepted mediums include: paintings, drawings, and collages. If the work incorporates textured elements, it may not exceed more than 3 inches from the wall. Artwork must be professionally presented and ready to hang securely on a wall with hanging wire. Any artwork without hanging hardware may not be accepted for exhibition on arrival.
The deadline for submissions is Sunday, April 23rd (11:59PM PST). Artists may submit up to three works for consideration. Early bird entry fee is $15 for submissions received before March 19th and $25 for submissions received thereafter through April 23rd. Artists will be notified via email about their artwork submission by Saturday, April 29th. Accepted artwork will need to be delivered or shipped to the gallery no later than Saturday, May 20th.
