The Ohara School emphasizes seasonal qualities as well as the beauty of natural growth processes and environment. Join the workshop that follows to create your own arrangement.

Kayoko Suiyo Fujimoto, grand master of the Ohara school of ikebana (the art of Japanese flower arranging) leads an introductory class on basic skills. Fujimoto will guide each participant in creating his or her own unique arrangement to take home. All materials, including a beautiful vase prepared by the artist, will be provided. (Come early for Fujimoto’s Artist Demonstration at 1 PM.)
