The Oakland Asian Cultural Center is launching a call for artworks to accompany an exhibition titled "Bandung To The Bay," which showcases the history of Black and Asian solidarity across various movements. This exhibition consists of historical, archival documents connected to the international Bandung Conference and Bay Area Asian & Black activist solidarity movements including the Black Panther Party of Self-Defense.
Up to 10 artists' works will be selected by a jury panel and each selected artist will receive an honorarium of $100 if their work(s) are selected for this exhibition.
