"ARTique" Artist Open Critique - a forum for artists to participate in an open critique discussion for artistic growth and development - http://www.sfartistnetwork.org/critiques.html
Whether you have questions about pricing, presentation, framing, how to create a thematic exhibition, or simply honest feedback on style or voice, this event is for you. Artists of all levels and media are invited to bring up to 3 pieces of artwork and specific questions for discussion in this open forum.  Our moderator for this event is Stephen C. Wagner, noted gallerist, educator, and professional artist. The Artists Open Critique provides a forum for artists from emerging to professional, to participate in a constructive critique session. Artists sign up on-line in advance as a Participating Artist and bring pieces of their artwork to present to the group and ask specific questions concerning technique, design, composition, and presentation.
Artists Open Critique Participating Artists should please be prepared with:

up to three pieces of artwork to show
a brief statement of intent for your artwork
a brief explanation of the medium that you utilize
one to three specific questions to present to the attendees

Viewing Artist fee to attend and give feedback to participating artists:  $10  /  register on Eventbrite

Moderated by Stephen C. Wagner
Stephen encourages other artists to commit to their artwork and take the steps necessary to become more successful through his guest speaking on professional development for artists at art organizations throughout California. His lectures offer artists insight to jump-start their artist career, obtain clear focus on their intention for their artwork, create a strategic plan for their artist career, create an impressive artist portfolio website, and master the business of art.
Stephen is the managing partner at Arc Gallery in San Francisco, featuring a 1,000 sq. ft. art gallery, two smaller galleries and an art education center. Stephen was the Program Development Coordinator for the San Diego Art Institute, has been a consultant for the San Diego Children's Museum, and was on the Board of Directors for Arteach in Palm Desert. To train teachers to incorporate art into their everyday curriculum, Stephen taught Aesthetic Education classes through the University of San Diego Division of Continuing Education. He has been a guest speaker and has taught workshops and classes for art organizations and colleges throughout California. - http://www.sfartistnetwork.org/contact.html
