Animal Sculpture Workshop with Ivan Lopez


Our Ceramics programming is expanding with Sculpture Workshops! One of our first is a series design by our in-house artist, Ivan López. He has over 12 years of working with creating animals. Come join him on amplifying the voice of nature through clay . 
- CERAMICS SCULPTURE- 
In this class you will be walking away with a new creation of a hand-built animal by you!  This class is geared to beginners, but all levels are always welcome.
You will learn about sculpting with clay, slabs, slip and scoring and various other sculpting techniques. 
You have the choice of making one of the following animals: 

Bull Skull 
Peace bird
Elephant 
Or let us know what your favorite animal is you would like to create ahead of time and we can make it together! 


- SLIDING SCALE - 
We will be offering a sliding-scale to make this experience accesible to all. If you can pay more you will be supporting those who are not able to pay at the higher end of the scale. Thank you for investing in your creativity and others. 
The sliding-scale is $45-$65 per class.
Price includes instruction time of 2.5 hours, all the clay you can use, ceramics tools, and firings.
