ArtEsteem's 20th Annual Exhibition

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Join Us for ArtEsteem's 20th Annual Art Exhibition!

This year we are celebrating two decades of creativity and empowerment with our annual ArtEsteem Art Exhibition: Igniting Change Through Creativity! Come support the work of ArtEsteem students throughout Oakland and the larger Bay Area. Over 100 pieces of original art and writings by youth that spread a conscious message of love, justice, and environmental awareness.

Work will be for sale and students receive 50% of proceeds!

Bring friends and family and show your love. The exhibit event will feature art created exclusively by children and youth, ages 4 to 18.

ArtEsteem is Attitudinal Healing Connection’s award-winning art and literacy program that develops creative, engaged, and successful children and youth through building knowledge and emotional, social, academic and intellectual skills. Founded in 1995, ArtEsteem engages students and supports their positive development – body, mind, and heart. Participants discover how to self-reflect and dream, as well as focus on their tasks and “follow through” by completing their art projects. Our methods guide students to think practically about the world and their abilities to manifest positive and creative outcomes. We ask participants to re-define the self as a hero with embodied superpowers to create a more loving and peaceful world. Superheroes imagined by students have been used as the conceptual designs and inspiration for the Oakland Super Heroes Mural Project.
