A journey into finding your personal artistic language
Dates: May 28 - August 25
A journey to access your latent creativity and artist, the Art Transmission Course is a class designed to help artists learn how to transmit what they feel, see and experience, and are inspired by, in a more potent way. They will learn how to use practices to access emotions and experiences, and use their chosen medium so it will have greater impact with their audience.
Learn and build practices that help cultivate the skills to transmit and excavate deeper into the vision and motivation that drives you as an artist.
The three month long course includes an initial full day class, followed by bi-weekly teleclasses, and lesson packets. Calls will include the opportunity to review the information packets and discuss experiences in using the practices. The program will end with a gallery show where all artists get a chance to showcase their work and journey.
The purpose is to learn how we show up for our artistic purpose, and what we can do to develop the skills to better communicate it into the world. This course is open to Visual Artists, Dancers, Poets, Singers, Actors, and any who have a message to bring to the world.
Many practices are referenced through the program, and some are highly recommended to aid in the excavation and learning process.
Dates/curriculum
Before the class: Receive Introductory packet which includes Desire Contract, Fear Inventory description, and description of other practices recommended leading up to the one day class.
May 27th, 10am-6pm: Full day class to fully anchor the concepts and journey of the full course.
Starting June 5th with teleclasses every other week: We will check in on progress, offering support so that you can grasp concepts and application of practices.
Starting June 12th: you will receive information and content packets every other week
Fri August 25th - Gallery show: Performance/showcase night, where all artists get a chance to present their work to an audience and experience the results of their work.
After the course: One final call to close up the course and explore what’s next for each individual.
