Tricia's work is very in tune to animals and their spirit. She paints birds and animals that she has had a connection with. She expresses there ability to to live within urban environments through the use of textural, many times metallic backgrounds implying the man made elements in which they dwell. Her backgrounds are far more contemporary than the subject which is usually painting in a more realist manner.
She also enjoys painting sort of snapshots of texture, whether it be metal, brick, wood, she is painting the elements from which we build.
