THIS EVENT HAS ENDED
On Saturday April 17, 2021, we will hold our 18th annual Art of Dessert Gala Virtually--the Confection Connection. The Art of Dessert gala has raised over $4.5 million to help support our community's home for the arts and helped provide enrichment in the arts to over 480,000 children.

Registration coming soon!

Proceeds raised through both Date Night and Art of Dessert benefit the Center's Education and Community Engagement programs throughout the year, including new online tools and educational experiences for students, teachers, and parents, free and discounted tickets for low-income and at-risk students to educational matinees, musical instruments loaned free of charge to those who can't afford to buy or rent them, arts-integrated classroom instruction by LBC teaching artists, and professional development courses for teachers.

Integrating the arts with classroom lessons gives students broader and deeper learning experiences--experiences that impact how children learn to think, as well as how they feel, behave and grow into accomplished adults. In short, the arts have the power to inspire and change lives and make our community a better place to live.
