You are invited to the "Unexplained and Invisible" exhibit by two emerging Icelandic artists: Kjartan Guobrandsson and Iris Kristmunds.
Kjartan explores fault lines and cracks, textures and surfaces, light reflections and refractions, lines and pathways.
Iris's work is seemingly simple and minimalistic. Yet, she focuses on painting textures unlike many others: smooth, sandy, polished granite or volcanic rock. And then, there's often a rhythm and melody in her work. There is enough structure to pull it all together, with just enough freedom and movement to make things unpredictable, free-flowing, and lyrical.
