I decided to take an imaginary journey across our great nation, over distance but even more so in time, in order to take a nostalgic look back at our not-so-distant past. From a 1940's fishing trip in Ensenada, through Texas with a stop at a classic country roadside cafe, then on to Spelman College in Atlanta, an esteemed educational institution that epitomizes our rich multicultural heritage, and finally ending up bathed in the timeless brilliance of a fall New England landscape, I re-live America's history as well as its romance. Through it all, I come to realize that while much may change around us, some things will always remain the same.
