Art & Remembrance: Fabric of Survival

The Marin community will gather to remember and honor the memory of those who perished in the Holocaust at the annual Yom Hashoah Memorial (see page 6 for details). Hear personal stories of survivors and a recitation of Memorial Scroll names. Bernice Steinhardt will speak about her mother, survivor Esther Nisenthal Krinitz, whose embroidered tapestries trace her memories of pre-war Poland. Part 2 of this exhibit will open at the Kol Shofar gallery on this evening.
