2012 SECA Award winner Josh Faught, prompted to create a project outside of the typical museum gallery context, has chosen to do his commission at the Neptune Society Columbarium. This unique event is a chance for visitors to explore the niches and passageways of the Columbarium, see Faught’s hand-woven sculptures, enjoy film screenings presented with Frameline and learn more about the building’s history, AIDS, activism and the making of the SECA project from Faught himself. Event concludes with a live performance by Luciano Chessa.
