Please join us for a free lecture by artist David Liittschwager, a San Francisco-based photographer who received the David Brower Center's Art/Act: Award in 2011. In conjunction with the Brower Center's current exhibition, Art/Act: Youth, Liittschwager will speak about the process involved in bringing one idea through to a complete body of work, based on his own experience with his project, A World in One Cubic Foot. He will discuss how he worked through intended audience and methods of support, to sample size and habitat selection, to magazine publication, book production, and full exhibition.
