Save the date: Artist Reception Meet the Artists April 12th 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sweet Elena’s Bakery located at 465 D Olympia Avenue in Sand City announces its new art show “Women Painters of Big Sur.” More than 10 Big Sur artists are participating in a show led by Ronna Emmons who has been teaching art for more than 30 years to the women of Big Sur. Her class is called “Ronna’s Ravishing Rollickers” and the ladies paint in a huge studio in Rancho Rico all winter. The group takes an introspective and spiritual approach to art and in the Spring head out throughout Big Sur to the beautiful landscape and paint in the Plein Air tradition. More than 20 pieces will be displayed throughout Sweet Elena’s. The show will be on display through the end of April.
