For more than 20 years the spirited Pittsburgh punks Anti-Flag have worked tirelessly to make their music count for something more thank cheap thrills and mindless rebellion. In 1993, they got together for the sake of responding to their disgust at religion, nationalism and fascism and gained their reputation for the relentless recapturing of the old-school ethics of punk: fast, loud, obnoxious and and anti-everything that ends with an "ism".
Leftover Crack has proven to be one of the most consistently controversial acts to spring from the 3rd wave ska revival scene. The band plays a mixture of ska, punk, crust and metal. They carry the thematic and musical threads that began in the early nineties ska/punk act Choking Victim. Like Chocking Victim and the other host of "Crack Rock Steady" bands Leftover Crack reflects staunchly leftist politics and a street level, often antagonistic, view of authority.
