Annual Concerts for World Peace 2015

This year's Annual Concerts for World Peace will be dedicated to inner peace in America recognizing the importance for all Americans to unite for a greater community through positive action.

The Concert features recording artist, Eddie Gale (San Jose's Ambassador of Jazz) and his Inner Peace Youth/Adult Orchestra performing "music for your quiet time and inner peace."

The Concert will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 2:00 pm
at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library in Downtown San Jose
150 E San Fernando St, San Jose, CA 95112 (408) 808-2000

Admission is free. Audience is asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the San Jose State University Student Food Pantry program.

Eddie Gale, founder and director, has presented the Concerts for World Peace to the San Jose State University and bay area communities for the past 15 years. Gale was proclaimed San Jose’s Ambassador of Jazz by Mayor Norman Y. Mineta in 1974; is the recipient of the Jefferson Award (2006) for public service in the arts; and the California Arts Council Sankofa award for over 25 years of service to youth in the arts.
