Animal Place's Farmed Animal Conference is a one-of-a-kind experience! The two day event takes place from Saturday, June 3, to Sunday, June 4, at our farmed animal sanctuary in Grass Valley, CA, and will focus on the intersection of nonhuman and human rights issues. Workshops are hosted inside pastures, in barns, and at our education pavilion. Our goal is to inspire you to put your compassion into action for both nonhumans and humans. Let's work to achieve food justice for all!
Learn about activism, farming and the environment, intersectionality, animal law, animal care and sanctuary life, and more. Enjoy vegan meals and an amazing goody bag, meet like-minded individuals, and even camp outside within walking distance of the sanctuary!
Choose to attend the whole conference or just one day. Scholarships and work exchange program available for those who qualify.
