The Andy T Band, fronted by guitarist Andy T and vocalist Alabama Mike, displays musicianship at its highest. Andy T’s jazz-tinged guitar style is influenced by T-Bone Walker, B.B. King, Magic Sam, and Albert Collins among others, yet it remains his own. Alabama Mike has taken over the lead singer chair in the Andy T Band. Founding member Nick Nixon was forced to retire due to health issues last summer. “Bama” is a force on the microphone with the first rate, church house tenor’, that he was blessed with, he delivers a sound that will remind you of a young BB King, Buddy Guy, Elmore James, or even Little Johnny Taylor.
