"An Object of Pleasure" Book release, reading, and illustration exhibit

Rykarda Parasol, first time author, and Z Space, are pleased to announce Parasol’s book release Thursday, 6-9pm, June 8st, 2017. An excerpt of An Object of Pleasure will be read and twenty-four embroidered illustrations from the book will be on exhibit. “An Object of Pleasure” is a narrative poem of a young female artisan lacking devoid of self-worth seeking and seeks self-preservation in the images she embroiders. It is a dark, sexy, whimsical, and utterly tender tale of finding comfort through one’s crafts (Though it may be a somewhat skewed endeavor!).
