A budding singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with an old soul, Tamir developed a unique sound at the early age of 17 and grew a large fanbase and global interest in his music, leading to tours across America and Europe. He has graced the stages of the BA City Beats Festival and Kaunas Jazz Festival alongside the likes of Gregory porter, John Newman and Jamie Cullum and was also featured in The Red Sea Jazz Festival, The TLV Piano Festival and many more in his home country of Israel.
Tamir is naturally drawn to funk, blues and jazz and brings together his youthful energy with an authentic, retro sound. Tamir's debut EP, Inwaters, (2017, Steel Wool Records, Kobalt) garnered international attention and received an exclusive feature article and streaming by Billboard magazine. After signing with Steel Wool management (Anderson Paak, Hayley Kiyoko), and teaming up with Live Nation on a touring development deal, Tamir made the move to America. This year, he released a four track EP that showcases his time in Los Angeles and the work he did with influential producers such as Sam Barsh, Tom Kahr, Cassidy Turbin among others. Tamir now lives in New York, where he is writing and recording his first full-length album and preparing to tour across the US and Europe come 2020.
