An Evening with Sutton Foster, featuring music director Michael Rafter
Thursday, August 1st- Jack London State Historic Park. Two time Tony Award-winner Broadway singer, actor and dancer Sutton Foster comes to Wine Country with musical director Michael Rafter for a powerhouse night of enchanting entertainment in the winery ruins of Jack London State Historic Park.
Foster, best known for her Tony Award-winning performances in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie on Broadway, also originated leading roles in The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein and Shrek the Musical, and is currently starring in ABC family’s new series Bunheads.
The concert is produced by The Transcendence Theatre Company, producing company of the award-winning Broadway Under the Stars concerts in Sonoma’s Jack London State Park.
Sutton is one of The Transcendence Artist Series, a collection of one-night only concerts with individual artists in a variety of settings throughout Northern California’s wine country, will be in addition to TTC’s previously announced lineup of summer concerts beginning June 28, featuring professional Broadway and Hollywood performers in the majestic open-air winery ruins in Sonoma's Jack London State Historic Park.
